I'm pretty green when it comes to chesting.
But when i chest i try to play on "safe" value-wise based on skins, like outcast, platinum and such.

But if i want to look for a more challenging skin like Ravens Staff, or Tyrian Serpents, at which affilation of enemy is that rate of success the best? Aswell on what difficulity?
(dont get me wrong, i know it wont be easy anyhow).

I'v yet have to encounter a gold 20/10 raven drop.. So yeah all feedback is appreciated!

Tyrian serpents would be rather hard to chest for. Raven's I have gotten a couple in wittman's (one of the easiest and most ran chestruns). Aside from this run, you can try pretty much all over the southern shiverpeaks.

Yea zephyr tyrian serpents never dropped from foes, Purple ones you can get from reward chests in uw/fow/sorrow furnance But gold ones only were avaible from HoH chest and keyless chests back in 2005-2006.

Raven staffs drop all over shiverpeaks, back in time when trolls outside droks were farmed alot they dropped quite a bunch of them. also like matrix said Witmans is probably best area for overall shiverpeak chests, fast and easy area.

Yeah shiverpeaks is best for that, although I got a fair few from Hells as I already said dumb dumb! I had a 20/20 one drop in the desert a couple years back too. A lot of people forget the desert because it's the shittest place excluding nightfall yet has some of the best loot tables and like every enemy can drop req8 haha

ah yea right ;DD For twin serpent jeweled staff yeah shiverpeks ive had most, some from hells, also ive had more them then hells in that only explorable area in fire islands, outside augury cant remember name atm haha

But cantha also drops em alot too.

All I ever see for prophecies chest runs is the Hell's Precipice chest run for magma shields, but my question is there another prophecies chest run for other cool items like wingblade swords or summit warlord shields?

Reed Bog HM/nm is awesome run in prophs also! nm gives you changes for q8 drops and q7 15ar shields etc! And HM gives you alot core shields like tower, tall crude and weapons like butterfly sword, Forked sword, shortsword etc

Reed Bog sounds like a place iv never really chested..
I do have chested the Sage Lands, and Dry Top.
Quite fun places.

Dry Top contains 0-1 chests.
And Sage Lands 0-2 chests.

Thing they have average Maguuma loot tables.

ive had them there, im sure theres screens on q7-8 drop thread, had my first ever gold q8 foci there from chest

always thought only canthan chests could still drop req8 max golds... (chests only I mean, not foes)

Actually it does mean that, why wouldnt it? ;D The area can drop max dmg weps. as well as low q ones.. well ive had bunch of max gold q8 foci there, i had screens on that thread but theyve gone bad now ;(

And system any 300-450g chest can drop max gold q8..

Just curious if anyone has idea which chestlvl maguuma chests are as theyre 300g chests?

Well im gonna chest q8 drop there as i know they drop there and (Imo) More common then from 450g chest even

Sofar only this after ~50 chests ;D

Xaquang Skyway
Nahpui Quarter
Kurz Areas

Yes, From those areas Nahpui, Xaquang and Pongmei in nm may drop q8 (450g chests which doesnt count for title) But kurzick areas that have 600g chests doesnt drop q8.

I take it that Tasca's Demise chest run with shiverpeak chests don't drop q8s anymore as they are 600g then?
